Under the direction of the Home Manager the Residential Training Instructor will be responsible for the supervision and care necessary to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of the residents in the assigned group home. The Residential Training Instructor is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of programs pertinent to education, training, and therapy, and fulfilling normal household duties.
Under the direction of the Behavior Home Manager the Behavior Residential Training Instructor will be responsible for the supervision and care necessary to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of the residents in the assigned group home. The Behavior Residential Training Instructor is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of programs pertinent to education, training, and therapy, and fulfilling normal household duties.
Under the direction of the ADT Director and the ADT Specialist, the ADT Trainer will be responsible for the care necessary to meet physical, emotional, and social needs of consumers in the assigned classroom. This individual will prepare training materials, will perform clean-up of all on-going activities, and will assist in all aspects of the classroom, as directed by the ADT Specialist and the ADT Director.
Under the direction of the Associate Executive Director, the Residential Director will supervise, coordinate, and monitor the operations of the Group Homes within the Behavior Intensive Division. This individual will be responsible for insuring that all programmatic issues are in accordance with APD and APD standards.
Salary Range: $40,500 to $48,500
Hours of Work: 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. Must be flexible to take care of all issues related to the position, and be on call.
Qualifications: Degree Required, Prefer Certification as a Florida CBA, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, or Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst or demonstrate willingness to complete any of the certifications
Employee will be required to successfully complete and update Medication Training, Transportation Training, Safety Care Training, First Aid Training, CPR Training (to include physical demonstration of the skill), HIV / Infection Control Training, Zero Tolerance Training, Core Competency Training and any additional trainings relevant to area of responsibility as assigned.
